Serving God with Time

Last year, Eric and I signed up for the Sunday Lunch Program with our church, Most Precious Blood. We make lunches for a senior support center and low income adults, living in an apartment complex. We are only obligated to twice a year, but serving in the Lord's name is very rewarding.

Saturday night, we made 80 sandwhiches for 40 lunches, which also included an orange, pudding, and cookies. Sunday morning, we collected the rest of the lunches from the other 3 families and headed downtown. Our first stop was the senior support center, then it was onto the apartment complex. Here we went door-to-door with our deliveries. Everyone who answered the door was very thankful and one lady's granddaughter even gave us hugs. It doesn't take alot of time or money to help others.
