Working Girl

So now that I've finished my novel, I decided now was the time to work on that job thing again. While I enjoyed my year long sabbatical, there are things that we need that unfortunately require money.

I interviewed with a preschool and was offered a position as an assistant teacher. I accepted and was sick, right from the get-go. I am working with toddlers 18 months to 3 yrs and never thought that mucus could flow so freely. Yeah, gross. I've only been working for two weeks and have been sick twice already. I even came down with a fever yesterday.

But I'm having a good time and the kids are really smart. I bought a beta fish and they named him Mr. Boots. Even I can manage to stay healthy, then I might actually enjoy my time there. I'm hoping that this experience will give me some pediatric experience when I rejoin the world of exercise phys.
